Day 1, Innsbruck
Arrive in Innsbruck, a city in the Alps that’s long been a destination for Winter Sports. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Hotel for an overnight stay. You will be at leisure for rest of the so that you can relax after your long haul flight.

Day 2, Innsbruck
Enjoy a guided tour of Innsbruck, capital of the Tyrol, with its landmark Golden Roof. Later proceed to the beautiful little town of Rattenberg, famed for its crystal and fine glassware. Continue your journey to Salzburg for an overnight stay.

Day 3, Salzburg – Lake District
Enjoy a guided tour of Salzburg, Mozart’s birthplace. Explore the old town before lunch in the nearby lake district. Free time to discover St. Wolfgang, followed by a boat trip to St Gilgen. Free time at leisure to enjoy picturesque St. Gilgen and the sweeping scenic views across the whole of the Salzkammergut region.

Day 4, Melk and the Vienna Woods
Start your day with a guided tour of the massive and imposing Melk Abbey, a masterpiece of Austrian Baroque architecture overlooking the Danube. Post Lunch enjoy an expedition into the Vienna Woods that includes a guided tour of the Mayerling Hunting Lodge and the Cistercian Abbey of Heiligenkreuz, founded in the 12th century.

Day 5, Vienna
The whole day is given over to the Austrian capital including landmarks such as the Hofburg Palace, winter home of the Hapsburg dynasty, the Cathedral of St Stephen, and the Austrian Parliament Building. Continue with a visit to the impressive Schönbrunn Palace, the Imperial summer Residence.

Day 6, Graz / Worthersee
Enjoy a guided city tour of Graz, main town of the state of Styria, and its picturesque old quarter. Later, you have free time to enjoy Maria Wörth, an elegant resort town on the southern shores of the lake.

Day 7, Grossglockner High Alpine Road/ St Johann
Journey along the famous Grossglockner alpine route (open May to mid-Oct.). From the Franz-Josephs Höhe terrace (2369 m) you can admire Austria’s highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3.797 m), and the Pasterze glacier lying directly beneath. Continue to St Johann in Tirol region for an overnight stay.

Day 8, St Johann – Innsbruck / Salzburg – International Flight
After breakfast, you will be driven to Innsbruck/Salzburg Airport for your flight back home.
