Day 1, Paris
Arrive in Paris, a global center for art, fashion, gastronomy and culture. You are required to reach Hotel on your own (OR you may request us to arrange the same at an extra cost). You will be at leisure for rest of the day so that you can relax after your long haul flight. In the evening, you will have an opportunity to meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers.
Day 2, Paris
Today discover the Capital city of France that offers you everything from iconic architecture to stylish shopping and from artistic treasures to glorious food. Guided tour of Paris will give you an opportunity to learn about all the main sites like Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe.
Day 3, Paris – Giverny – Rouen – Honfleur – Deauville
Proceed to Giverny where impressionist painter Claude Monet lived and worked. The famous water garden at Giverny was his inspiration as he produced his famed water lily series and is now the Fondation Claude Monet museum. Next stop at Rouen to visit its famous Cathedral followed by a brief visit at Honfleur, a city on the estuary where the Seine River meets the English Channel. Continue to the seaside resort of Deauville.
Day 4, Deauville – Normandy – Bayeux – Mont St. Michel
Start your day by visiting the legendary beaches of Normandy where allied troops landed more than 70 years ago. Highlights will be Arromanches and the American Cemetery at Omaha. Proceed to Bayeux that boasts a fabulous historic centre as well as its world-famous, UNESCO-listed tapestry depicting the Norman conquest of England in 1066. Discover spectacular Mont St. Michel which stands on an island reached by a causeway.
Day 5, Mont St. Michel – St. Malo – Rennes – Chateaux Country
Drive along the Brittany coast to the fortified seaside resort of St. Malo to admire its Cathedral and ancient walls. Later, visitRennes with its traditional, colourful, timber-framed houses, then reach the enchanting Chateaux Country.
Day 6, Chateaux Country
The day is free at leisure to explore the region on your own.
Day 7, Chateaux Country – Blois – Chartres – Paris
Visit picturesque Blois with its renaissance castle, once occupied by Louis XII. Later, another highlight is the visit of Chartres, home of the famous gothic cathedral. Later, proceed to Paris.
Day 8, Paris – International Flight
Your exploration ends with the morning breakfast. You are required to reach Airport on your own (OR you may request us to arrange the same at an extra cost).
