Day 1, Munich
Arrive in Munich, the third largest city in Germany, known for its annual Oktoberfest and beer halls. You will be at leisure for rest of the day so that you can relax after your long haul flight. In the evening, you will have an opportunity to meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers.
Day 2, Munich – Nuremberg – Prague
This morning, you will be driven to Nuremberg, an energetic place where the nightlife is intense and the beer is as dark as coffee. After a brief stop, continue to Prague, the capital of Czech Republic.
Day 3, Prague
Prague is one of Europe’s most charming, colorful and beautiful cities and each it’s districts has its own characteristic atmosphere and unique charm. Enjoy a guided tour that features sites such as the Jewish Quarter, Charles Bridge, and the Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock.
Day 4, Prague – Vienna
Travel from Bohemia into Moravia, then into Austria and on to Vienna, where included sightseeing starts with the State Opera, Parliament, and the Town Hall. Stop for a stroll in Heroes’ Square to view the Hofburg. Reserve some energy for an exciting evening optional excursion
Day 5, Vienna – Budapest
The morning is free to explore Vienna, a city with a very high quality of life, a feature that is highly appreciated by the many visitors on your own. In the afternoon you travel from Austria’s capital to Hungary’s capital.
Day 6, Budapest
Budapest is bisected by the River Danube and Buda Castle dominates the twin cities of Buda and Pest. A city tour gives you an opportunity to explore Parliament building, Margaret Island, Fishermen’s Bastion, and the Royal Castle.
Day 7, Budapest – Salzburg
Today you will be driven back to Austria as you head to Salzburg, the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozar, located on German border, with views of the Eastern Alps.
Day 8, Salzburg – Munich
Morning is free at leisure. Explore historic centre of the city, with its rich mix of art and architecture or maybe join the optional The Sound of Music excursion. Then, continue past Lake Chiemsee to Munich. Tonight, enjoy a typical Bavarian dinner at a local restaurant that is a must to celebrate a successful vacation.
Day 9, Munich – International Flight
Your exploration ends with the morning breakfast. You are required to reach Airport on your own (OR you may request us to arrange the same at an extra cost).
