Day 1, Ljubljana
Arrive in Ljubljana, Slovenia’s Capital, famous for its green spaces. You are required to reach Hotel on your own (OR you may request us to arrange the same at an extra cost). You will be at leisure for rest of the day so that you can relax after your long haul flight. In the evening, you will have an opportunity to meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers.
Day 2, Ljubljana – Postojna – Zadar
Enjoy a city tour that comprises of Train Ride and walking tour that provides an opportunity to explore Europe’s most extensive and best-known caves. Continue to Zadar, a city on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast known for Roman ruins, medieval churches. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour.
Day 3, Zadar – Split – Dubrovnik
Today, you will be driven to Split that lies on the eastern shore of the Adriatic Sea known for its beaches and the fortresslike complex. Visit the former hometown of Roman Emperor Diocletian, his Palace, and Jupiter Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, proceed to Dubrovnik, a stunningly intact walled city overlooking the calm blue waters of the Adriatic.
Day 4, Dubrovnik
This morning, visit the Franciscan Monastery and the Rector Palace where the local guide will provide you with the insight on the preserved medieval architectural wonder. The balance day is free at leisure.
Day 5, Dubrovnik – Neretva Gorges – Mostar – Bosnia – Herzegovina – Sarajevo
Enjoy a scenic drive into the rugged beauty of the Neretva Valley. Stop in Mostar, where a Local Guide shows you the Turkish Quarter with the Turkish House, the Mosque, and the reconstructed 16th-century bridge. On to Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia-Herzegovina and certainly the most Turkish-looking city in the Balkans – famous for its mosques, markets, and bazaars. Discover the city with a Local Guide and get acquainted with its architectural highlights, including the Gazi Husrev-Beg Mosque.
Day 6, Sarajevo – Plitvice National Park
This morning you visit Plitvice Lakes National Park, which is one of the oldest and the largest national park located in Central Croatia. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of this natural wonder. Its 16 lakes, wooded hills, waterfalls, and cascades make it one of Europe’s most loved national parks.
Day 7, Plitvice – Zagreb – Ljubljana
Today, you will be driven to Zagreb, Crotia’s capital that boasts a charming medieval ‘old city’ with architecture and cobbled street. Upon arrival, enjoy a city tour of Zagreb. Continue your journey to Ljubljana, where a Local Guide will help you appreciate its imperial beauty.
Day 8, Ljubljana – International Flight
Your exploration ends with the morning breakfast. You are required to reach Airport on your own (OR you may request us to arrange the same at an extra cost).
